How to launch File Explorer in Windows 10 quickly? 

Usually, you can launch File Explorer by just typing explorer or file explorer in the search bar.

You can right click the File Explorer option and choose Pin to Start or Pin to taskbar if you want to have a quicker access to it.

If your File Explorer is not responding when you right click it, you should follow the instructions below to get this problem fixed.

  1. Press Windows key and X at the same time, then choose Command Prompt (Admin) option from the list of choice.
  2. In the command prompt window, type in command: netsh, and then hit Enter. Then in the same window, type in winstock reset and hit Enter. You can restart your computer when this operation is completed.
  3. Follow the path: Start button > Settings > Update & security. Then one the left pane, choose Windows Update, and on the right pane, choose Update history.
  4. Then choose Uninstall updates.
  5. If you can see update KB3081449 or KB3081448, right click it and choose Uninstall. Then restart your computer.
